Riders stuck on roller coaster in Busch Gardens

TAMPA, Florida (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Thrill seekers got more than they bargained for Wednesday at Busch Gardens in Tampa.

The "Cheetah Hunt Roller Coaster" broke down part way through the ride.

Tampa Fire Rescue used a bucket truck to get at least 15 riders back down to safety.

The Cheetah Hunt towers 102 feet over the theme park. It takes riders to 60-miles-an-hour in just seconds using three magnetic launchers.

Park officials are trying to determine what caused the ride to stop.
