President meeting with lawmakers over NSA surveillance

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - President Obama is said to be nearing a decision on changes to U.S. surveillance programs.

Those familiar with the White House review say they expect Mr. Obama to tighten restrictions on U.S. spying on foreign leaders.

They also say he's considering the NSA's access to American's phone records.

Mr. Obama will meet with lawmakers on the issues Thursday.
