Toronto Mayor not stepping down after video
TORONTO (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he isn't going anywhere, despite calls for him to step down over accusations of drug use.
"I want to move forward, but I also know to move forward I have to make changes in my life, which I can assure you that I will do. I love the work I do, and I'm going to keep doing it," said Ford.
Police say they found a video that supposedly shows ford puffing on a crack cocaine pipe.
The video was found on a computer during an investigation of an associate of Ford's who is suspected of giving him drugs.
Police say they cannot charge the mayor with any crime.
Sunday, Ford apologized on his local weekly radio show, but only for his drinking.
