Wounded Army Ranger's salute gaining attention
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A wounded Army Ranger's salute is gaining worldwide attention.
Corporal Josh Hargis was injured in action earlier this month in Afghanistan.
His commanding officer came to his hospital bed, moments after surgery, to award him a Purple Heart.
To everyone's surprise, Hargis, who was thought to still be unconscious, raised his bandaged right arm in a salute.
Hargis is now on the road to recovery and heading home to his wife.
