Tropical storm and hurricane near Mexico
MEXICO (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Mexico is dealing with problems from Mother Nature.
Tropical Storm Manuel is edging on Mexico's Pacific coast while Hurricane Ingrid still lingers around the other side of the country.
Heavy rain and landslides have caused at least 21 deaths and forced thousands to evacuate.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Manuel is starting to weaken after it made landfall, but remains a threat to produce flash floods and mudslides.
It's expected to dissipate by Monday.
Forecasters say Ingrid, the second hurricane of the Atlantic storm season, could reach the Mexican mainland by early Monday.
