WIND ADVISORY

10 AM Until 2 AM Saturday

The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather today and always!

Pilot trying to sell plane has disastrous test flight

PORT ORANGE, Fla. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A pilot trying to sell his plane wound up in an embarrassing situation in the cockpit with a potential buyer in the passenger seat.

Mid-test flight, the Florida pilot had to make an emergency landing on the highway.

Apparently the vintage plane lost power during a few practice maneuvers.

No one was hurt and they were able to take off safely from the highway a short time later, and flew to and flew to an airport.

There's no word as to whether or not the potential buyer is still interested.
