Conn. residents call 9-1-1 after cable system has problems
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - During Sunday night's episode of 'Breaking Bad,' a number of Connecticut residents began calling the Fairfield Police Department with their concerns.
That's because just after 9:00 p.m., when the show started, the local Cablevision service went down.
So, fans of the show called 9-1-1 about the outage.
Police posted a notice reminding citizens that misuse of 9-1-1 can result in arrest.
The service was restored around 11:00 p.m., in time for the show's replay.
