(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The key witness in the Alex Rodriguez doping scandal appeared on "60 Minutes" to come clean.

Anthony Bosch, owner of Florida anti-aging clinic Biogenesis said Rodriguez paid him $12,000 a month to give him banned drugs including testosterone and human growth hormone.

A-Rod's suspension was reduced Saturday by an arbitrator from 211 games to 162, adding all playoff games next season.

Rodriguez has denied the allegations from Bosch, but in the end, it was his testimony that sealed A-Rod's fate.

Bosch was able to cut a deal with the MLB for his testimony.

The Players Union has released a statement saying it is considering all legal options and accused the MLB of publically piling on A-Rod.
