KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The 72nd USTA Boys Nationals begin Saturday morning at Kalamazoo College.

Tournament director Mark Riley tells Newschannel 3 that this year's field is absolutely stacked, with this year's junior Wimbledon champion and runner-up, along with the top-ranked junior, Francis Tiafoe.

Riley says, "There's a lot of experience coming back. A lot of experienced winners this year in the ITF, with Wimbledon, the French Open and Australian Open tennis. This field has been doing a great job against rest of the world this year."

The nine-day event begins Saturday morning with 16 and 18 doubles. At 7p.m., seven-time Grand Slam singles champion Mats Wilander teams up with local star Paul Oosterbaan in a doubles exhibition against the number-one seeded team in 18 doubles.
