WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Wayne County Prosecutor has announced that Tigers minor-league pitcher Evan Reed has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct according to the Detroit News.

Reed was accused in April of sexual assault. He reportedly met a woman at a Royal Oak bar and then they ended up downtown at the Motor City Casino where Reed was staying.

Reed has not commented on the case, but his lawyer says he has been fully cooperative in the investigation.

Reed now faces 15 years in prison if convicted of the charge.
