After two shaky performances, Wassink still has confidence of Tim Lester
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Western Michigan Broncos entered the 2017 season with a brand new starting quarterback and three brand new starting wide receivers.
And that group has, somewhat predictably, struggled.
Jon Wassink has thrown for just 146 total yards in the Broncos season opening losses to USC and Michigan State.
The Grand Rapids sophomore, however, does have the full confidence of his head coach, former Bronco QB Tim Lester.
