Broncos kick off MAC Tourney against Eastern Mich.

Updated: Thursday, March 14 2013, 08:34 PM EDT
CLEVELAND, Ohio (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The WMU Bronco mens basketball team tips off in the MAC tournament Thursday night.

The Broncos are set to take on in-state rival, Eastern Michigan, for the third time this season.

The teams split the season series, with WMU knocking off the Eagles 63-59 in Kalamazoo in late January, and EMU returning the favor in Ypsilanti just under 2 weeks ago, with a 50-49 overtime victory.

We talked to the club before it hit the road for Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland.

Thursday night's winner will play Ohio in the semifinals, who beat both teams earlier this year.
