UPDATE: Police set up perimeter in Holland, searching for shooter story image
HOLLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police have set up a perimeter around the area near 132nd Street and Pine Oak Avenue in Holland.

Ottawa County dispatch confirmed that the perimeter stretches from James north to Riley, and 132nd west to 136th.

According to Holland Police, they are searching for a suspect on foot after shots were fired at a house in Holland Township.

Once on scene, officers determined that a domestic disturbance had taken place between parents and son.

The son reportedly took a shotgun from the house where the three lived, and fired several shots outside the home before fleeing.

The suspect was identified as an approximately 40-year-old male, around 6 feet tall, and 250 pounds, wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The perimeter was set up, and officers are continuing to search for the suspect.

Holland Police were called into assist Ottawa County officials in the search, but at this time, they have been unable to locate the suspect.

Reports indicate that police are going door to door in the area in their search.
