ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - One man is missing and three others are hospitalized following a single car rollover crash in Branch County early Sunday morning.
According to investigators, the vehicle was eastbound on E. Central Road when the driver "failed to negotiate a curve," and crossed the road, drove into a field and rolled the vehicle.
22-year-old Eric Donley of Elkhart, IN; 24-year-old Codie Allen-Duane Howells of Coldwater; and 22-year-old Cameron Nash Kosmerick of Galesburg were all injured in the crash.
Donley was transported by helicopter to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Howells and Kosmerick were taken to Coldwater Hospital by ambulance, where they were treated and released.
The driver, who has not been identified reportedly ran back to the road to flag down a passing car, but did not return.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor, but as all occupants were out of the car when police arrived, seat belt use is unknown.
The crash remains under investigation.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Branch County Sheriff's Office.
