SAUGATUCK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Saugatuck Republican Bob Genetski is considering a move to the state senate.
Genetski just won his third term in the Michigan state house, so by law he cannot run for another term.
Reports say Genetski has filed the necessary paperwork to organize a candidate committee for the 26th senate district.
That seat is currently held by Senator Tonya Schuitmaker.
Reports say that Genetski hasn’t committed to running, but admits he is thinking about it.
