THREE RIVERS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police say they are seeing a disturbing new trend among teens--lacing candy with marijuana to get high.
It's called 'pot candy.'
Back in January, Three Rivers Police were called to Three Rivers High School, where two students were found with the laced candy.
The students say they bought the candy from another student at the high school, and admitted several students were ingesting it.
After a 3 month investigation, police found two students were delivering the marijuana-laced candy to 8 students.
The information is now being sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
