LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - State officials are urging motorcycle riders to wear fluorescent gear to help drivers notice them on the road.
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning is launching that ad campaign called "Ride Safe To Ride Again."
The ads will air on TV, radio and the internet.
Officials say wearing red, orange, yellow or green fluorescent gear will help motorcyclists be easily spotted, both during the day and at night, and hopefully cut down on collisions.
