GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Grand Rapids woman faces multiple charges, including child abuse. She's accused of exposing her infant son to crack cocaine.
Jail records show Stacy Gatlin was arraigned Wednesday for second degree child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, resisting and obstructing police as well as being an habitual offender.
M-Live is reporting Gatlin's 14-month-old son put a piece of crack cocaine in his mouth. It happened last month at an apartment on Franklin Street.
When Child Protective Services removed the baby from the home they found filthy conditions and drug paraphernalia inside.
Along with the criminal charges Gatlin's facing, she also has a hearing next month to see if she can regain custody of her child.
