LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY

UNTIL 9 PM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  2" to 6" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph bringing lake effect snow bands near and across US 131, at times.  Some locations will see more than 6", especially closer to Lake Michigan.  Roads are slippery and become more tricky once the sun sets.

Missing Kalamazoo woman found

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A missing woman perceived to be in danger was found early Sunday morning.


Police were looking for 58-year-old Sheryl Lynn May who went missing from the Econolodge Hotel in the 37000 Block of Easy Street on Friday around 10 p.m.


Police say May was found around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.


They did not say where she was found. She was sent to the hospital as a precaution.
