FOND DU LAC, Wisc. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Drug evidence found in the pants pocket of a man charged in a crash in Wisconsin that killed two motorcycle riders from Michigan will be allowed at trial.
An attorney for Clinton Lovelace asked that those items be suppressed, arguing that officers should have gotten a search warrant first.
Lovelace is facing 12 felonies after crashing into a group of riders on a Fond du Lac County highway last year.
Daniel Winsemius and Douglas Yonkers died in that crash.
Eight others were hurt.
Lovelace is being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $75,000 cash bond.
