Four companies investing in state, 2 in W. Mich.

LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced Tuesday that four companies would be investing in the State of Michigan, to the tune of nearly $45 million, and creating over 200 jobs.
Newschannel 3 told you late last week about the investment of Bleistahl North America into a manufacturing facility in Battle Creek.
According to the MEDC, the company is planning to invest $11.5 million and create 58 jobs.
Also announced Tuesday was the arrival of Kay Manufacturing Company in St. Joseph Township.
The Calumet City, Illinois-based company will be investing $9.3 million to expand into a 120,000 square foot facility, and will create around 80 jobs in doing so.
Companies are also planning to expand in Mount Morris Township in Genesee County, and Bay City in Bay County, near Saginaw.
