Flooding washes out road in Allegan Co.

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Flooding has washed out a road culvert in Overisel Township.
Residents have been flocking to get a glimpse of the collapsed roadway on 146th Avenue just before 43rd Street.
The large culvert is now exposed, bent and broken in the stream Allegan Road Commission leaders confirm was caused by weather.
Residents in the area say the Allegan County Road Commission placed sand piles on each side of the roadway to prevent drivers from taking any chances.
Newschannel 3 crews drove through Allegan County and witnessed many rivers and streams swelled Thursday.
In Holland, we found another washed out road at 40th and Ottogan.
Emergency officials warn if you ever see a road covered in water, do not try to driver through. You could not only stall your car, but the road may no longer be there.
