OTSEGO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Allegan County Prosecutor's Office is responding Thursday to allegations of corruption and unethical tactics.
On Tuesday, we told you about 22-year-old Anthony McFarlane, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, decorated for his actions in combat, and dealing with PTSD and traumatic brain injury.
Now, he faces life in prison for stabbing a man in the stomach back in January.
His family says it's an obvious case of self-defense and they can't believe the way their son is being treated.
Now, McFarlane's attorney is making claims of unethical conduct in the case.
