BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Charges have been authorized in a criminal sexual conduct investigation at Battle Creek Central High School.
NEWSCHANNEL 3 broke the news of the investigation back in February, uncovering allegations a Western Michigan University graduate student working as a physical trainer had an inappropriate relationship with a high school student.
Sources confirm the Calhoun County prosecutor has signed a warrant for 1st degree criminal sexual conduct against the graduate student. His name is not being released at this time.
The graduate student was contracted to work at Battle Creek Central through a program at WMU. He has since been removed.
