Calhoun Co. man charged with embezzlement

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Calhoun County man has been formally charged with embezzling over $100,000 from his employer.
James LaBelle turned himself in and was arraigned in Calhoun County on Tuesday.
Marshall Police believe he took as much as $160,000 from BR Wholesale RV and Marine.
Investigators say he used company funds to pay his rent, buy television sets, and even to start his own small business.
He was released on a $50,000 personal recognizance bond.
