(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Millions of Americans will start getting checks in the mail this week from some of the nation's largest banks over wrongful foreclosures.
Those 13 banks agreed to pay more than $9-billion over the scandal involving robo-signing.
About $3.6 billion of that will be direct payments to customers. More than 4-million borrowers will receive that money.
Those payments will range from $300 to up to $125,000.
