WINTER STORM WATCH

7 PM SATURDAY UNTIL 10 PM SUNDAY

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues WINTER STORM WATCHES for Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties from 7 PM Saturday night until 10 PM Sunday.  Light snow develops near midnight Saturday night and becomes steadier and heavier toward daybreak Sunday.  Snow, heavy at times, may accumulate on order of 6" to 12" by Sunday evening.  Traveling will be difficult and further compromised by blowing and drifting snow.  The exact track is still being fine tuned, so please stay with wwmt.com throughout your weekend!

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Anthony Pietrzykowski  posted the photo above on our WWMT Facebook page.

It's a shot of the sky over the pier in South Haven Thursday night and he says a streak of light near the top of the photo is the Pan-Starrs Comet.

After months on the southern hemisphere it made its first appearance in the northern hemisphere Thursday night.
