KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A task force looking into noise levels in Kalamazoo will meet for the first time Tuesday.
M-Live reports the task force will meet at 1:00 in the city commission chambers.
The goal is to set expectations for what they hope to accomplish.
The Kalamazoo City Commission approved the task force after Mayor Bobby Hopewell wanted to study the late night festival noise downtown.
The task force could recommend limits to festival hours or propose other solutions.
Any outcome of this task force will not effect this year's festivals.
