(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, last month was the hottest June in more than 100-years of recorded weather history.

Last month's combined global temperature over land and ocean surfaces was 60.2 degrees Fahrenheit, just 1.3 degrees above the 20th century average.
