WINTER STORM WATCH

7 PM SATURDAY UNTIL 10 PM SUNDAY

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues WINTER STORM WATCHES for Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties from 7 PM Saturday night until 10 PM Sunday.  Light snow develops near midnight Saturday night and becomes steadier and heavier toward daybreak Sunday.  Snow, heavy at times, may accumulate on order of 6" to 12" by Sunday evening.  Traveling will be difficult and further compromised by blowing and drifting snow.  The exact track is still being fine tuned, so please stay with wwmt.com throughout your weekend!

Checkers robbed in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3)- Public safety officers in Kalamazoo are investigating a robbery at the Checkers at Kalamazoo and Harrison.

It happened Wednesday morning. Investigators say that the manager was robbed while opening the business. The manager was not injured.

The robber brandished a handgun and fled with an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, about 6'3" tall with an average build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white "Nike" lettering across the chest and light colored pants with cargo pockets.
