Holland to Lansing and north: 1" to 2" ... south of that line including Kalamazoo: less than 2/10" of ice, very little snow.

Balyo to plead guilty to federal charges next week story image

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A former west Michigan christian radio DJ is scheduled to plead guilty to federal sex crimes involving a 12-year-old boy.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Attorney's office charged John Balyo with one count of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of possession of child pornography.

Balyo is scheduled to plead guilty to the charges on July 29th, and in exchage, the U.S. Attorney's office will not seek additional charges.

Last month, the former WCSG on-air personality was charged in a Calhoun County court with one count of sexual penetration of a victim under 13, and sexual contact of a victim under 13.
