Workers continue search after sinkhole claims Fla. man

Updated: Sunday, March 3 2013, 04:53 PM EST
SEFFNER, Fla. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Crews have torn down more than half of a house perched over a huge sinkhole that swallowed a Florida man three days ago.

Workers did manage to salvage some keepsakes for family members who lived in the home.

Jeff Bush was in his bedroom Thursday night in Seffner, a suburb east of Tampa, when the ground opened and took him and everything else inside his room.

Bush's body has not yet been recovered, but he's presumed dead.

Engineers hope to be able to make a better assessment of the sinkhole once the house is removed.
