Tenn. maintenance worker quits job over number on W-2 form

Updated: Friday, February 8 2013, 08:28 AM EST
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A maintenance worker in Tennessee quit his job because of three numbers.

"666" was stamped at the top of Walter Slonopas's W-2 form.

The company that handles payroll for his employer says that just means that his form was the 666th sent out.

However, Slonopas says it's the mark of the beast, and accepting that form would condemn his soul to hell.

The company wants to rehire him, but he says God is worth more than money.
