Teacher accused of duct taping toddler

CALIFORNIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A California teacher is under investigation, accused of using duct tape on a toddler.

According to reports the former teacher tied up the 2-year-old's wrists and ankles for refusing to take a nap.

The incident reportedly happened months ago, but only came to light last week.

Court papers say the teacher retold the story and showed the photograph to colleagues during a luncheon for current and past employees.

One of those colleagues was the child's mother.

The teacher no longer works at that school and charges may be pending.
