Tanning beds illegal for kids in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Tanning beds are no longer an option for minors in New Jersey.
Governor Chris Christie signed a bill banning anyone under 17 from using a tanning bed.
The ban will also require 17-year-olds to get parental consent before tanning and anyone under 14 can't get a spray tan.
This comes after a New Jersey mom was accused of taking her 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth.
She was later charged with child endangerment, but a grand jury failed to indict her.
