Staff Sergeant’s son steals the show during medal ceremony

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – It was a big honor for Army Staff Sergeant Clinton Romesha.

He received the Medal of Honor from President Obama, but it was his young son who stole the show.

Before the ceremony Romesha's son Colin was trying to get up to the microphone on the podium. They managed to coax him off the stage, but then he ran back up and tried to sit in a chair reserved for his dad.

Romesha received the Medal of Honor for his brave deeds during a battle in Afghanistan in 2009.
