Pistorius bail hearing continues

PRETORIA, S. Africa (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Olympian Oscar Pistorius was back in a South African courtroom Wednesday for a bail hearing.

Pistorius spent much of the day in tears as prosecutors revealed new details about their pre-meditated murder case against him.

Prosecutors say the double-amputee runner cornered his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp, in a bathroom the size of a locker, and opened fire, hitting her in the head, arm, and hip.

The bail hearing enters its third day on Thursday.

Police say Pistorius is a flight risk and should be kept in jail until trial.
