DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for all of West Michigan until 10 AM.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.  Light winds, ample moisture near the ground are encouraging the formation of dense fog.  Because temperatures are near freezing, a light coating of ice may form on some road surfaces making them slick.  Please keep it safe this morning as you head back to work and school.

NORTH KOREA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - North Korea conducted a third nuclear test and the White House is calling it a threat to U.S. security and international peace.

Officials say the nuclear blast caused an unnatural earthquake.

This test comes after a U.N. order for North Korea to shut down its nuclear activity or else face more sanctions.

President Obama issued a statement saying the U.S. would quote ... "continue to take steps necessary to defend ourselves and our allies."
