Man hands over children after admitting to wife's murder

SAN DIEGO, California (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in San Diego say a man walked into a sheriff's office carrying a knife and two young children Wednesday.

He then handed his kids over to police and told them he had just stabbed and killed his wife.

Deputies arrested the man then went outside and found his wife's body next to a truck in their parking lot.

Friends of the family say they were going through a divorce as well as a child custody battle.
