Man claims road rage caused by Red Bull

BELGIUM (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The slogan says Red Bull gives you wings, but one man claims it also gave him road rage.

A 56-year-old Belgian slaughterhouse worker reportedly went on a crazed rampage with knives, a starter gun and a lead pipe.

Police say he got  into a car accident, then beat up the other driver and then attacked and hurt two cops who tried to arrest him.

The man's lawyer says he drank too many Red Bulls and also forgot to take his prescribed tranquilizers.

A judge granted bail on condition he stop drinking Red Bull.
