OHIO (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Two high school football players found guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl will be going to jail.

On Sunday Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond were found guilty of raping a drunken 16-year-old girl after a party last summer.

They were sentenced to at least a year in juvenile prison.

Mays was also ordered to serve an additional year for photographing the underage girl naked.

The victims mother spoke at the trial.

"This does not define who my daughter is. She will persevere, grow, and move on," said the victim's mother.

"I told Ma'lik to put all his trust in god. God will see him through this. I told him that I love him," said Ma'lik's father Nathaniel Richmond.

Both teens could be held till their 21st birthdays.

Meantime, Ohio's Attorney General says more charges could also be filed as the investigation continues.

A grand jury will look into whether other teens, along with coaches, parents and school officials broke the law by not speaking up after the attack.
