District attorney murdered in Texas

TEXAS (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - New security measures are in place for some elected officials in Texas following the murder of a district attorney.
Police say there will be increased security at the Kaufman County Courthouse Monday.
These precautions are coming after police found Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife shot to death Saturday night.
Just two months ago masked men gunned down the county's assistant district attorney a block from his office.
"To have two killed in Texas in a two month period is beyond rare," said National District Attorney Scott Burns.
Before McLelland was murdered he raised the possibility that a white supremacist gang killed the assistant DA.
"I hope that the people who did this are watching because we're going to find you," said McLelland.
Police have made no arrests in that murder.
McLelland's murder comes two weeks after a white-supremacist ex-convict gunned down Colorado's Prison Chief at his home.
Investigators are working to see if the these cases are linked.
