Couric possible victim of 'spoofing'

NEW YORK (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Katie Couric has become the focus of a strange investigation in New York.
Apparently a phone registered to Couric's late husband, who died in 1998, is calling 911.
There have been at least 10 calls since last month, and they always happen on Tuesdays at 2:00 a.m.
When a dispatcher answers, all they get is static.
Then, they call Couric and send a patrol car to her apartment.
Investigators believe someone has hijacked the phone line--it's a hoax, known as spoofing.
