LOS ANGELES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The California cat sanctuary where an intern was mauled to death earlier this week is set to re-open on Sunday.

24-year-old intern Dianna Hanson was killed instantly after a lion named Cous-Cous escaped from his feeding pen and pounced on her while she cleaned an empty cat enclosure.

The Cat Haven Preserve has been shut down since the attack on Wednesday.
