Bill to prevent gov't shutdown on its way to Pres.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A bill to prevent a government shutdown is on its way to the President's desk.

The House of Representatives signed off on legislation that will keep the government running until September.

Republicans and Democrats remain far apart on a long term deal, however.
