Air Force reverses policy on drone airstrikes

Updated: Saturday, March 9 2013, 01:38 PM EST
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The U.S. Air Force appears to have reversed their policy on releasing the number of drone airstrikes done by the military.

Last October, Air Force Central Command started tallying weapons releases from drones broken down into monthly updates.

The numbers can be found for November through January.

Recently, however, the use of drones by the U.S. military has been under the microscope and now the newly released numbers for February are nowhere to be found.
