Across the board spending cuts kick in Friday

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The deadline is almost here. Congress is still looking for a way to avoid $85-billion in across the board spending cuts.

Those cuts are scheduled to kick in Friday.
