Marijuana grow operation found next to drug dog training school

FLORIDA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Florida man faces drug charges after police say he set up a marijuana growing operation right next to a K-9 training school.

Officers say Anthony Parrish thought his pot greenhouse was safely nestled in the woods. What he didn't know is that police were training tracking dogs in that same area.

One day when the dogs were out on a training exercise they led officers to the greenhouse where they found 79 pot plants and about a pound of processed marijuana.

Parrish was arrested at a nearby trailer.
