WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY, FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY

TODAY

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORYfor most of West Michigan today through 4 pm. A mix of freezing drizzle and sleet this morning will lay a thin layer of ice on many roads across the area. Light snow and rain this afternoon will contribute to potentially hazardous driving conditions.

The National Weather Service has also issued a FREEZING RAIN ADVISORYfor the following counties, effective this morning from 5 to 9 o'clock: Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, and Hillsdale. Conditions are favorable in the Advisory area for the formation of freezing drizzle/rain, which has the potential of creating slippery/hzardous driving conditions. Temperatures are expected to warm above freezing by late this morning, taking the threat of freezing rain away.

President heckled in Texas story image

AUSTIN, Texas (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The president was in Austin, Texas Thursday, discussing current immigration issues.

At the event two Hispanic men stood on their chairs and started shouting.

The president tried to ignore them, but then called them out directly.

"Sit down guys, I'm on your side, we'll talk about it later, I promise, alright. So, look, here's what we can do: we can do so much more - no, you don't have to escort them out, they'll sit down, I promise I'll talk to ya afterwards," said President Obama.

It was first time in his presidency that the Secret Service stood down.

Police were also called.

According to a White House press pool report, White House staff escorted the protesters behind the stage immediately after the president's speech was over.
