(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A lawsuit challenging the Affordable Health Care Act has been thrown out of court.

Senator Ron Johnson filed the lawsuit in January.

The Wisconsin republican argued members of Congress received special treatment under the Affordable Care Act in the form of subsidies.

Johnson claimed those regulations forced him to participate in something he believed was illegal.

A U.S. district judge ruled Johnson didn't have the legal standing to sue, because he couldn't prove he was being harmed.
